I leave for Costa Rica in one month! I am so excited. I wasn't going to write a blog but now I am so here I go...
First of all, studying abroad is pretty difficult, there is so much paper work... it is a bunch of mind numbing nothingness. I will be traveling with my friend Linsey who I met randomly in a spanish class. I sat down next to her and she turned to me and said HI!!! ever since then, we have been planning to study abroad. We thought about going to Spain, Argentina, Mexico, or Chile, but once we decided that Costa Rica was much cooler than anywhere in the world and professor Castro said it was the best place to go, it was obvious where we needed to travel. Our pre-departure orientation consisted of information telling us to not have sex or do drugs abroad... wow, I had no idea I shouldn't do those things. Anyway, we made a packing list and we have just been waiting for exams to end, trying to make some extra cash (I have been an avid member of ebay), and telling people adios and don't miss me while were gone. We will see how everything goes and I will update everyone on the packing. Until then, hasta la vista.
